Patty,
I've had good luck with foxgloves. Very easy to start from seed for me,
but a bugger to thin out properly because the seeds are like dust. My only
frustration is that the showy ones are biennials and you don't get to see
the fruits of your labors until the following year.
I'm in zone 6a. Has anyone else had success in getting foxgloves to bloom
the spring of its first year? I don't care for 'Foxy'; it looks rather sad
with it's widely spaced blooms. They aren't as full as the biennials.
Val in KY\zone 6a
