I sprinkled a bunch of seed from several current and one-year old annual
larkspur seed over my daffodil beds this February. The seedlings came up
relatively later than I thought they would but were glorious bloom for mid-May
through July--Lots of flowers to cut and bring indoors. I left the plants in
place as they died back and have lots of new seedlings now as we approach
winter. I don't know what they'll do if winter is severe, but we'll see. As
for the mid-May bloom, remember that virtually everything was three weeks
earlier than normal this year, at least in my area.
