some peoples choice's of garden plants run the boring direction of only plants
with double flowers or variegated plants.
Any way- I would not jump to a conclusion that it is a malvaceae (mallow) Most
Plants in the mallow family have some kinda showy flower.
Instead of giving you a direct answer try looking at the Rose family
Rosaceae.
