My experience with the Garden club was exactly opposite of Nans.
I enjoyed the club and got a lot of excellent books. If you don't want a
book the responsibility of sending the card back is ours. After fulfilling
my obligation of 3 books in a year, I now have only one to buy and don't
have to send a card back if I don't want it. They just don't send me a book
until I do send a card back. That is where I got my "Well Tended Perennial
Garden" and many other fine gardening books. I never regretted that I
joined. Hope you have good success also.
