New Century hybrids are coming out of work Elisabeth and Kees Sahin are
doing (primarily) for the Dutch flower markets. There was a time when they
offered F1 seed. I think the New Century lines are F2s out of those F1s ---
or at least they were ten years ago. Park Seed has occasionally offered New
Centurys in the past.
What are they? Think improved (much improved) Pac Giant types. Broader
color range -- pinks and salmons are included. The typical bigger and
better things.
