Re: Composting question, sort of


You're welcome, Bill.  Know what you mean.  The first time I ran across
them, I was sure some tree had managed to infiltrate the whole pile.  Would
love to know who they belong to as they are tough as all get out.  Have not
run across any info. on this on the fungi pages I've seen and probably
wouldn't understand it on the high botany description pages.  Oddly enough,
have not found many "mushrooms" on the piles to indicate who the mycelium
might belong to...probably because I use the material before the fungus
gets to the point of making 'shrooms'.
