Road salt tolerance


I used to have a row of Hemerocallis (cultivars unknown and varied)
between my street and my yard.  They were covered yearly with the plowed
snow from the street - usually containing salt, if not under direct
onslaught from the salting trucks.  Never lost one.

I'm becoming more appreciative of their general hardiness year after
year.
