Sensitive fern, Onoclea sensibilis, has a somewhat misleading common name
which is actually based on the plants' sensitivity to cold autumn temperatures
and/or summer drought.  It doesn't respond at all to being touched -- scarcely
responds to being plowed!  ;-)
