Re: garden fall clean up
I agree with you Marge as I do minimal clean up&cutting back in
fall......
Theory being(and sometimes affirmed)that in nature this doesnt occur and
actually can make for plant shock and moisture loss(without leaves to
protect soil),which in this unpredictable/dry climate can spell life or
death .. Have had excellent survivor rates as long as I have practiced
this 'theory'.Of course Canna and the like do not fall into this
catagory.
