Ahhh... but I am not looking to get rid my clematis. Simply find that right spot
in the garden for them. Without it looking as though I went "clematis crazy". I do
have a couple set near a path lined with stone on either side. The intent is to let
the ones that are short climbers trail along the top of the stones accenting the
path. David reminded me I could place a couple on the embankment along a stone
shelf when he described a wall in his garden. Have to move something else,
though... It will all work out.. If not this year then next. I am seldom in a big
hurry to transplant. Everything has to be in that special spot.
