Sorry for the two blank messages..........nowhere does it say one must be
awake to operate this machine........
As for weeping Katsura, Cercidiphyllum japonicum 'Pendula' ,it's on my list
for spring acquisition. Dirr says Katsura grows 40' to 60', medium to fast
frowth rate. However the "weeper" is grafted on seedling understock and
grows only 15' to 25' and fast growing.
There is a newer weeping cultivar 'C. magnificum 'Pendula' which will/may
grow to 50' or more and that's probably the one Gary Koller of Arnold
Arboretum showed to Dirr. Not sure if it was growing at Arnold.
Indigofera heterantha. Perennial or woody? It just jumped into my trunk over
the weekend at Weston's Nursery in Hopkinton, Ma. Any experience out there
on this one? On one hand it looks like a potentially pretty
plant........while on the other I'm sure I killed several weeds that looked
like it and who said weeds aren't pretty?
