Re:Bamboo Recommendation

I'm getting even more scared about the Bamboo. Think we will have to foot the bill for the 6 foot stucco wall at least for the length of the property that directly connects with the neighbor. Believe it or not where I live there is NO requirement for fencing around a pool!!! I'm sure my insurance agent would frown at that. But I do want some fencing for my own piece of mind. Will probably do wrought iron except where the privacy is a major issue.

The sales I spent the whole of today at are 70% off. I got a ton of stuff since the whole back yard needs landscaping.

Hong Kong Orchid Tree, A huge Peach Bouganvilla, Sweet Olive, Indian Carnation, Coppertone Louquat, Savanha Hollies, Needlepoint Hollies, several tall and dwarf grasses, Hydrangeas, Ginger, "Rabbit foot Ferns" (really excited about these, they were my fathers favorite), Japanese Grape, compact bamboo, golden spirea, several George Tabor Azleas, Inica Azaleas, Carrisa Hollies to make due where the Hawthornes would have gone (I'm tired of the Hawthornes) Giant Lirope, a bunch of sweet flag, wood ferns, autum ferns, several green mound junipers for groundcover, Rosemary for cascading, Tinsachina, and several more. I've had a wonderful day. My husband will go nuts when they deliver all of this on Saturday. But one must realize how much I saved in the long run.

I'll be out tomorrow looking for Judge Solomon Azaleas and some Camelias.
Is there an Azalea to be had for our area that would be as striking or more so than the Judge Solomon, want them to be very bright!

I almost got some dwarf Oleanders but I hated them when we lived in California so I couldn't bring myself to get them.

My husband didn't want any palms. I was ready to get a Sago Palm for an accent by where the pool will be. But I saw the Indian Carnation and thought that might be just the ticket for a non-palm moderatly sized accent plant. Yeah, or Neah???

Got to rest, I'm pooped from just lifting all those plants.
