Re: Rhodea

Hello Kemberly,
Rhodea are new to me as of this year. I have seen them around a thought
about ordering some for the past two years or so, but simply never made the
effort. A gardening friend over in KS has been growing them for some years
now and wanted to make a trade or two. So... what the hey. If he can grow
them they would be hardy here for sure. Also would not have to lay out the
heavy cash to grow a few and see how I actually like them in the garden.
Only two have been placed in the garden in the past couple of weeks. I have
two more to find a spot for in the garden this fall.
I have one of the smaller ones that is an almost-black green with a high
gloss with a bright green fern and Chinese variegated ginger under a dwarf
maple and some short corydalis up front in the raised bed.
