new grass?

I found a new grass this summer in a multiple plant container.  Of course it
has no name with it.  The grass has a v shaped leaf with very hairy edges.  It
is a strange color of green and nearly died during the heat of the summer but
is now coming out.  I need a name if you can recognized this grass.  The
leaves are about 6 inched long and the shaggy leaves are at the edges of the v
shape leaf.
