Pulsatilla ucranica

Had this given to me this summer by a great gardening friend (along with
Clematis recta, Gillenia trifoliata, Codonopsis, etc.) Have been trying to
nurse it along - its a small seedling. Squirrels seem to love it as they keep
digging it up.  I'm afraid to leave it out all winter as its so small - I
don't know this Pulsatilla at all - should I do the garage thing with it till
spring?
