RE: Anemone nemorosa

Anemone nemorosa are tough as nails. I have had them in 5 pint containers
growing them on for years... all outside in a holding area riding with the
local weather. Have not lost a single one. This is my year to get them all
into the garden. I am crazy about these plants. Cannot resist collecting
them whenever I see one I do not have.

Late chiming in but...
I dug Anemone nemerosa, Anemone nemerosa 'Robinson', and Anemone
ranunculoides in late summer 2009. I potted them and then that fall left
them outside surrounded by lots of other containers under leaves. They all
came up and looked great this spring.
