Hi all,
I know that there are several software packages on the market for doing
landscape/garden design. I was just wondering what people out there had
tried and what they thought.
I have been holding off on doing anything major/permanent in my backyard
because we had been planning on getting a fence and I wanted to know
exactly where it would be before I did any serious planting to avoid
moving things. Well, the fence was finished this Monday. Every time I
walk around out there now, I come up with a new idea for a flower garden
or hedge or something. Since I know that one of the common mistakes is
to plant for what it looks like now, not what it will look like in 20
years, I thought maybe one of these packages might help.
Any experiences or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg in Chalfont, PA (zone 6/7)
