Coffee Grounds

I have used coffee grounds directly in the planting hole for a rose I
planted over the summer... I also threw in a chopped up banana peel.. the
rose really did great almost from the start!
I also use lots of coffee grounds in my compost -- the worms really like
them. Most coffee places (starbucks etc) will reserve their leftover
grounds for you if you ask. Also if you need other kitchen scraps try your
local health food store if they have a juice bar! This would be a veggie
peeling heaven, that stuff would break up real fast!
