Re: Broom Question

I had a broom for several years-it was a dark red and pink one, very 
nice.  The problem was that it would die bak nearly to the ground some 
winters-but not all.  Since it blommed on old wood, I would get very few 
flowers.  i eventually took it out as I wasn't reliably hardy enough to 
flower nicely every year.  Would be interested in knowing what else I 
could habe done for it.
