Ok the answer is out on the tulips- the darwin tulips are the easest and one
of the largest tulips to grow.
even here in Minnesota we can get darwins to live for many years.
we have a poor climate for tulips and that is because we do not have longe
springs that lead into mild summers. One day its cold- the next it's hot.
tulips should be planted deep- six inches is good, this keeps the buld from
growing many smaller bulds. holland grows good tulips because it has a long
nice mild spring summer winter.
