Dear Didier:
I've used bubble wrap to protect the contents of coldframes against
late frosts after my indoor growing areas are stuffed. Bubble wrap is a
figgity solution. Carefully close your cold frames and then lay bubble
wrap over the top of the cold frames. Be sure and anchor your bubble
wrap with 2 x 4s or something. I worry about air circulation inside the
coldframes as well as too much heat sunshine so it's a rare desperate
solution.
Best, Vicki
