Re: liriope & deadheading


Be sure to cut it back before the new tips start, because they will show
the damage if you cut them.

I found that using an old bread knife makes short order of the chore.

Barb,

I would recommend cutting back liriope in the early spring before it
starts
to put out new foliage.  Otherwise you'll have a mass of brown
intermingled
with the bright green -- not very attractive in my opinion.
