Well, Duncan, I'll put in my 2 cents worth:
Something any backyard gardener needs to know is about pests and how to
handle them. Perhaps if you went over the archives for this list, you
would get a really good idea of what sort of questions the majority of
list members ask.
Soil and how to improve it. (I realize you have Compost, but that just
doesn't cover it all and a new gardener may not have access to Compost.)
Zone information, including the new "heat zones".
I hope that's been of some help. Let us know when you're all set.
