Pennesitum, 'Moudry' is a beautiful grass that grows for me in the shade. It
is hardy, blooms in the fall, (now) and the blooms or plumes are so purple
they look black. It only gets about 3 feet tall or so and is a wonderful
specimen plant. It grows easily from seed, at least it did for me. I love
mine.
