Re: Human hair


Your question intrigued me, so I did a web search and found "In mammals,
hair, horns, nails, claws, hooves, and even skin are all made up of the
same material: keratin."  There's more about hair on this page:

It's organic and will rot in time...I have put clippings from cutting my
hair in the compost heap and if I can remember, I'll throw some outside in
early spring for the birds to use in making nests.  Have not found human
hair deters any critters...wish it did...maybe the critters in my garden
just don't care.
