Naw, I'm in zone 6a. Much too cold for these tropical plants to do
anything outdoors here. I can believe that in the warmer zones they do
just fine. Your springs come earlier and summers last longer.
They must come indoors for me if I'm to have them next year. They go
dormant in my basement and I know when spring is around the corner because
they'll begin to sprout new leaves even in the dark (no sunlight down
there).
