I've never grown a brug indoors but as long as it continues to grow I would 
keep it in the sun room.  If you able to keep it from dormancy you will have 
a wonderful waterfall of spring blooms.

As far as cuttings.  They are really very easy.  Some folks take tip cuttings 
(green stem) but I haven't had as much success with that method.  I take 
"hard wood" cuttings ranging from 6-10 inches and allow the cuttings to cure 
for a couple of hours.  I then put the cuttings in a 1 gal (for support) 
filling with 50/50 vermiculite and perlite.  Keep moderately moist but not 
wet.  I do experience a bit of die back from the part of the "stick" that is 
up but usually doesn't effect the rooting under the medium.  Sometimes during 
the winter you won't see any foliage activity on your newly rooted cutting 
until spring - but don't be fooled by that....there is usually activity below.
