Dee asked:
<I have a question concerning fall bulbs. I work at a K-Mart store and
I had a customer tell me that when she doesn't get all her fall bulbs
planted, she puts them in the freezer over winter. My question is: Is
this possible?>
I regularly carry over indoors all manner of bulbs, corms and tubers for
various reasons. The bulbs, etc are placed in large zip lock bags
lightly moist packed in vermiculite & kept in a spare fridge. I would
never consider putting them in the freezer. This method has worked
admirably for years.
