year. You should be able to see the foliage as well as the flower.

Last year I had this plant bloom in cycles throughout the growing season AND
I didn't fertilizer after May. This year I am not only fertilizing regularly
but I had also top dressed the garden with manure in July - maybe the plant
is just receiving too much nutrition.
