Re: good and bad news from my garden.

Thanks, everyone for telling me what I wanted to hear! Nothing was left
lying on top of the plants for any time (well, except for the dirt they
dumped on top of my pachysandra). They just sliced off the tops of the
plants. It's good to think I won't have to start over completely! I'll set
out the things I dug up out of the way, and at least will have something
growing there!

I guess I'll spend the winter researching plants for a rock garden. You're
right, I do need to be careful about using dirt that will wash into the
pond. But I believe that some of the rocks extend out far enough to clear
the liner. Anyway, researching that will give me something to do this
winter while it's too cold to go out and play!

And now, if you'll excuse me, I better go check on the fish. It's been
almost an hour since I looked at them...
