I once received a gift of plants from Gilbert H. Wild's daylilies.
www.gilberthwild.com They were monsters for mail order size-- they had 2
bloom stalks the first year. All survived a miserable drought the first
season and are well settled in now. The prices were reasonable and the
selection wide.
I've also gotten very nice lily bulbs from them. They specialize in
daylilies, iris and peonies, I think.
