Hi!
dig, divide, share!
Cheryl
Since many on this list are hosta gardeners----
What the heck do you do with them all? My father in law brings me some
every year... something new as he digs a hole for them... They are all
getting so huge they are loosing the natural appearance and becoming a
big glob...( don't know how else to describe it)...which my FIL thinks
looks great-- oops, not my idea of a setting.... I like to see the end
of one plant then another... they can be huge, they can be very close...
but not on top of each other...this is not a hedge!....
So, when you divide them now... do you all dig up the entire plant and
just take a section? Or do you attempt to dig around the edges and take
away the outer area? I would like them to look nice and full for next
year, just not on top of each other...
Suggestions and comments welcome :)
Donna
