I was given a start of that plant and told it was a variegated iris....
waited two years for a bloom that never came.. then decided it was not
an iris! That piece was a start for someone else, the main plant on the
other side of the pond is huge. Must be close to two and half ft
tall.... it is a plant I have to divide yearly and find homes for. You
need to make it a bog area.... that plant is in a pond, doesn't even
have a pot or any soil, just tucked under a rock so it could root/
waiting for new owner to pick up.
BTW, there is a pond just beyond that hosta... but you can't see the
water due to the overgrown plants :(... which if anyone is building a
pond and needs some plants... let me know, I will be glad to send you a
box full! :)
