Yes get your shears out!
My parents had trumpet vines at their home in Oklahoma years and years ago.
They started with one but as I was growing up they spread and spread until
our house looked like the castle in the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale.
After I married and moved to my own home in Massachussetss, my wife
prevailed on me to plant a trumpet vine against my better judgement. After a
few years they spread and spread until they were present all over my 3/4
acre lot.
Nip them in the bud!!!
Bob
