I want you all to know that there is tired Mom of a sick 4 year old with the silly images dancing in her head - images of datura covered in little ribbon tied tulle bundles; a shrub of bridal shower favors!
I do know that a number of truly addicted daylily hybridizers that use cut up nylon stockings to catch ripening pods that might split with out warning.

I think that's the correct name. It's a netting type fabric. I don't know what size the seeds are. If they are tiny enough, they would fall through this. Maybe you could find another type of very sheer fabric. Use this as you would your nylons - wrap around the seed pods. You could even dye it green or find a green fabric. Wouldn't be as noticeable as white.
