2 questions, sorry for the cross post.

I am sure everyone is out gardening :)... I am on lunch break!- sorry
about the cross post- not sure which one had the previous discussion :(

This year things around here just didn't get done as they should...heat,
busy, just everything.... so got two questions----

A spring / early summer bulb that was taken from my mothers garden, been
there for 35+ years... well, seen that plant there anyways...moved three
of them here this spring when that house was sold.  It looks like an
allium on steroids maybe? My mother doesn't know the name of it. Was
always there, just never seemed to multiply much, maybe ten plants in
all that time. One large stalk, gets a pink circular flower head kind of
like allium globemaster, just the wrong color! Well never got around to
cutting it off, flopped over, got buried in the other plants around
there. Now noticed all these little black seeds on the end of each now
dead flowerhead... are they in fact seeds? This was a bulb! I saved some
of these black things.... anyone know about this plant?

I am looking for the post of when to trim clematis... remember something
about a list of clematis varieties and which class they belonged too, so
you knew when to trim or not too... maybe I have been in the sun too
long, cause I thought I saved it, but can't find it! Did anyone keep
it... I would love a copy... or maybe it was a web site that was
referred to? I have quite a few new to me clematis here, and not sure
what I should be doing! 

Ok I lied got three questions... also the white lace vine... trim or
not?

Break time is over-- back to the garden!
