Great idea Kitty - simple just never occurred to me to test the soil. I did replace a lot of the soil this summer, added bunch of mulch. Everything is struggling or just fading away. Lost a Jack Frost, epimediums, astilbes are down to a few leaves etc. Problem is only at the front of the house, back of the house seems ok.
Guess I know what I'll be doing next week. Thanks for the suggestion. Lil Georgetown ON z5 From: kmrsy@comcast.net To: perennials@hort.net Subject: Re: Anemones Date: Fri, 28 Sep 2012 19:40:03 -0500 Lil,
Have you had your soil tested? I wouldn't
bother if I had trouble with only a few things, but you're a veteran gardener
and this new garden seems to be presenting quite the challenge. And
least pH test is warranted.
