hi, all
I like to jot quick notes on what's blooming, what was planted, ideas
for changes, etc on a monthly 8x12 wirebound calendar (the type with
squares for each day). Takes only a quick flip back to locate an entry.
Kept handy by the patio door with a pen it takes only a few seconds to
jot down a note on what the garden is doing.
For tracking what I have purchased, "advertised" bloom time, color, etc.
I use a Microsoft word table -- could also be done as an Excel database,
etc. This lets you sort as in "do I need more early summer bloomers??"
And yes, there are times when I get behind on both <VBG>, but at least
the base is there.
would love to hear what others use. Marion in CT (Zone 5)
