Re: Gloriosa Daisies





I have started these from seeds indoors in March/April.  They germinate
quickly and grow as easily as zinnias and should bloom the first year.  As
an extra bonus, they reseed with abandon and you will have a huge patch in
two years.  I am particularly fond of any plant that I can start so simply
and perform so well.  In fact, I have started purple coneflowers along with
these daisies.  They bloom at the same time and as long -- although the
colors are garish together, you can separate the two and have late summer
color at various places in your yard.  Both plants are drought tolerant and
super hardy here in zone 5/6.

Not a bad deal for a $1.00 package of seeds.
