Oh my . . .. you bought them? I inherited mine and I still hate them..
I planted daylillies amongst mine and it works fairly well. I make a
habit of shearing off the spiderwort in the hottest part of July and by
now they look like low grass again. Otherwise they flop over and look
atrocious. Beware of the smaller daylilly varieties though . . . .the
spiderwort chokes out and conceals my stella d'oros over night. I always
hope my mid-July shearing will kill them . . . but alas, it doesn't.
