I am very sorry if my past post was not clear.
Groundsel is the common name for some of the species in the genus SENECIO.,
but to confuse the matter senecio has become a common name for some of the
species in the genus LIGULARIA.

LIGULARIA has over 140 species in it. SENECIO. has over a thousand.
All most all SENECIO species have two different looking sets of leaves on each
plant. Basal leaves are generally large and entire or lobed, while stem leaves
are reduced and or incised.

I hope this has not confused the picture more.
