Re: When to plant fall bulbs?


I believe you can start planting now, if warm weather has passed in your area.
If you are in area that may still have warm weather that can cause premature
sprouting, than you can refrigerate the bulbs to plant later.

I know You can plant until the ground freezes. (no fun, though)  I finished
planting just before christmas (was ill most of last fall) and my mother-in-
law was planting some the week after christmas last year and we both had them
come up this spring.  Surprised me!
