The old-fashioned bleeding heart is Dicentra spectabilis -- it has larger,
wider leaves that are not as deeply lobed. The flowers also tend to be
more pinkish with white bottoms (Dicentra exima tends to be more
pinkish-red without the white). D. spectabilis also gets *much*
larger; the one at my parent's house is about 6' wide now and
3' high!
I have a picture of the flowers (and leaves in the top left corner)
