Hi Janice, Sounds like it might be an Amaranth, sometimes called "loves
lies bleeding". The only Amaranths I am familiar with are annuals, but
start easily from seed. Can you call the radio station and ask how to get
in touch with the 2 Graces? They could tell you for sure. Good luck on
