Re: BRUNNERA macrophylla 'Variegata' was: hosta from seed

Oh dear...talk about roller coaster...

Bill's post was encouraging, then Holly reinforced what I'd read, then
Joanne says go for it and THEN, Holly has to go and list those OTHER
variegated forms.

My resolve to pass on this one has deteriorated...lust is winning...I will
have to have one. No question. Maybe, if the garden gods smile, it will
turn out like Pulmonaria 'Excalibur', whom I killed the first time, but
whose second incarnation came through this dreadful summer in fine
form...maybe, come on garden gods...stop snickering, just smile in an
encouraging way!

Holly, I am going to hope that my being just a tad north of you will make
a difference. The everyday species is almost a weed for me - yes, if the
species does as well as it does in my garden, surely the variegated form
will thrive...yes...of course it will and I know just where to put it.

I'm hooked...

Thanks for the feedback and encouragement everybody!
