I found a distributor here in Milwaukee, but they don't seem to know if
this is one of those products that can be sold only to licensed

Does anyone have a source for this or a quantity that I could purchase?

Marathon is not a restricted use pesticide, so no applicator permit is need.
It comes in two-forms. A one percent liquid that comes from the manufacture
in 5 pound containers with 4 containers per box-cost generally around $112.00.
The second form that it comes in is a powder, in 20 gram pouches at 4 pouches
per case. If I can read this right the cost is $297.00 per pouch.
The active chemical is IMIDICLOPRID and it is used as a systemic insecticide
to control aphids, mites, mealybugs, whiteflyand thrips on ornamentals. can be
used in a greenhouse.
