Speaking of these two vines, what is the vine with Ipomoea type leaves (but
smaller) and bright red-orange trumpets/yellow centers? It is quite well
behaved, easy to train, grows well in sun and shade, hummingbirds love it,
naturally, and although it always dies with the first frost, it reseeds very
freely and can be transplanted at almost any stage of growth. It's blooms
are almost identical to I. coccinea, but the foliage is entirely different --
heart-shaped. It's so delicate and beats the pants off the invasive.
large-flowered trumpet vine the name of which escapes me. Whatever it's name,
I've got babies to offer if anyone is
interested.
