Also try Tree Guard...fabulous...one application in late fall is all and the 
deer stay away until late spring. Not toxic but supposedly the most bitter 
substance known to man...and deer. Wear a scarf around your face when 
spraying so as not to ingest any yourself - the antidote? Chocolate...not 
kidding...what a great excuse to nibble
on a Hershey bar.
