Re: Iris question

Another Iris question.
I have Siberian iris, the purple ones, don't know their names. The seeds
are small round and black, then I have another what I thought was Siberian
iris which is purple and white. I collected some of the seed pods and the
seeds are flat and stacked in the pod like Pringles potato chips. The pod
has three divided sections. Can anyone help me to identify this plant? Would
it be a Japanese iris, or are their different seed pods in the same kinds of
iris.
