Here in Wisconsin, we have 2 common weed nightshades.
Black or common nightshade - Solanum nigrum. An annual to 1 ft here, but
larger with longer growing seasons. White flowers and black berries
Deadly or bitter nightshade - Solanum dulcamera. A perennial climbing vine
with blue flowers and red berries. A variegated variety of this weed is
offered commercially.
